A great way to get people to want to buy your products or services is to be considered an expert in that industry.

Would you rather purchase a product on car cleaning from someone who has written several eBooks on the subject matter or someone who just decided to go out and write a book?

Creating an eBook is a great way to become established in your industry as an expert on a particular subject. In the following article I am going to tell you how and why you should be doing this.

Once you become known for something, it attracts people like a magnet. A status is important in business because it does just that, people who need that something you’re known for will begin to be attracted to you.

Here is a quick example. I’ve branded myself as My Idea Guy. I am known for being able to find solutions for people through my ideas. Authors, speakers, and information marketers are the people I particularly work with.

Because of that branding, people know me as the guy who has been able to help build other’s businesses by generating all kinds of ideas.

Now I am known for that one thing, people are now automatically attracted to my products, services, philosophies and ideas. It’s because I’ve established that branding that I attract people looking for those things.

By creating an eBook on a particular topic that you are an expert in you can do just that. I know some of you who are reading this are thinking, “Yeah, but Stu, I’m not an expert at anything.”

That is the great part about this, you don’t have to be an expert. Compiling all the information for your eBook will allow yourself to establish an identity of an expert. You have put in the research to find the solutions people are looking for. In my opinion, if you are able to provide answers to people’s questions that you are of value and can be seen as an expert in that particular topic.

Doing this will quickly enable you to become known for that particular topic. It will increase your expertise status and you can begin to use that to leverage your business.

The more eBooks and other services you create full of high quality content, the more you will start to be recognized and the more customers will want to purchase from you.

eBooks are an excellent gateway to more business.
